Why Live With a Car Before Buying

A 30-minute showroom test drive happens on a route the dealer chooses. You drive 3–4 km in controlled conditions and are then expected to commit to a multi-lakh purchase. An Extended Test Drive turns that 30 minutes into a full day or several days — on your real commute, with your real luggage, in your actual parking space. By the end of it, you know whether the car fits your life. The ETD is a complement to the showroom experience, not a replacement — it lets you buy with conviction rather than impressions.

How the Buy Car Flow Works

  1. Browse cars in the Buy Car section — filter by body type, fuel, and price range.
  2. For models you’re seriously considering, tap Try & Decide to start an Extended Test Drive booking.
  3. Choose your city, pickup location, start date, time, and duration (full day minimum).
  4. Pay online for the ETD — charged like a standard self-drive booking.
  5. Drive the car through your normal week. After the ETD, decide whether to proceed with the purchase via the partner dealer or OEM.
